Net Enabler Score (NES)
The Net Enabler Score (NES) is the people equivalent of the Net Promoter Score (NPS). It is a one-off measure that can be taken as frequently or infrequently as you like. It quantifies the behaviour of your workforce and indicates how well your company is performing culturally against a key set of signature behaviours, that if positively demonstrated, will ensure you achieve your mission, vision, and business KPI’s.
The NES significantly differs from engagement surveys because unlike engagement surveys which measure what people think, the NES quantifies the physical demonstration of key behaviours; in other words, it measures what your staff are actually doing, instead of simply measuring just their views and opinions.
Depending on the signature behaviours that are quantified, the NES enables you to identify the areas of your business that are performing well and those that are not. It also identifies the behaviours that are impacting on the execution of strategy. It can provide the ability to report on culture to your board, stakeholders, and other interested parties, identify the ROI on other people based initiatives, or provide an understanding of how prepared your people are to adapt and take on any change initiatives that are crucial to the success of your business.
